Something about the sun peaking out on a Friday after a week of awful weather gets us thinking of one thing… TACOS.
Few things are best enjoyed in the sun, and the iconic Mexican taco is one of them. Toronto is spoiled with taco choices, from authentic cash-only taquerias to the fusion-y creative Mexican spots, there’s really no bad place to get a decent taco.
Having run Taco Fest for the better part of a decade, we’re pretty confident we know our way around the taco scene in Toronto. So, we’ve rounded up some of our go-to spots and the one taco you must have when visiting.
Psssssst, if you want to get your hands on Taco Fest tickets this summer, we just opened pre-sale here. Each pre-sale ticket comes with $10 worth of taco tokens!
Itacate - Lengua
Lengua, or beef tongue, is a taco protein that’s hard to find in Toronto, and it’s absolutely the one to get at this taqueria.
